How is Hannah’s Treasure Chest different from other agencies?

We can do so much with our small budget thanks to all of your support!
This is a very interesting question posed to me on a frequent basis. A lot of things come to mind, but I think the most prominent is how we run financially. Hannah’s Treasure Chest’s entire operating budget is approximately $145,000. That’s equivalent to one line item in the budgets of most other non-profits. It’s with this frugal budget that we cover rent, utilities, phone, internet, salaries, program costs, printing, everything and anything associated with running the organization. It amazes most people who come in and think we are a $600,000 - $750,000 annual budget agency. We run like a business and barter where we can. Hannah’s makes the most of the win-win situation through partnerships and utilizing what we have. The phrase that comes to mind is the one, “necessity is the mother of invention”. Let me just say that we have some very inventive and resourceful people supporting Hannah’s Treasure Chest.
