Item Donation
Hannah's Treasure Chest's inventory depends on donations from individuals, organizations and local businesses and corporations.

Item Drop-Off
We gladly accept and appreciate donations of baby, toddler and children's items both new and from parents whose own children have grown out of them, provided they are in excellent condition. Your donations help to ensure the children in need of the Miami Valley are taken care of. Keep track of your items donated as they are tax-deductible. Please be sure that all goods you are donating are things you would be comfortable seeing your children wear or use. When possible, please include manuals or instruction book(let)s for the items. For reasons of safety and hygiene, it is imperative that the goods we receive are in perfect working order. We are a volunteer organization and have no ability to repair or maintain faulty or damaged items. We reserve the right to decline donations that we feel are not reusable.

How do I organize my donation?
Note the items we do accept below. Make sure all clothing has been washed and items have been cleaned. Please include all pieces and parts to children's games and toys. Place items in heavy-duty garbage bags or study boxes.

Hannah’s Treasure Chest accepts:
Clothing, Pajamas, Toys, Books, Videos/DVDs, Music Tapes/CDs, Blankets, Bedding, Towels, Strollers, Highchairs, Bassinets, Baby Carriers/Backpacks/Slings, Swings, Exersaucers, Baby Proofing Items, Baby Monitors, Diaper Bags, Bibs, Bouncers, Infant Tubs, Mobiles, Safety Gates, Photo Albums, Room Accessories, Diapers, Formula, Stuffed Animals, Walkers, Bottles, Nipples, Teethers, Car Seats, Cribs (please disassemble), Baby Furniture, School Supplies
... and anything else appropriate for a child 12 and under

Hannah’s Treasure Chest cannot accept:
Broken Items or Items Missing Parts. Please do not donate items that have been recalled, banned or do not meet current safety standards. For more information on product recalls visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

We are unable to do regular pick-ups. If you are willing to volunteer and have a van or truck available to do pick-ups for us please contact our office at (937)438-5039.

Online Shopping
You can also shop online for brand new needed items from our Wish List. Items purchased will be shipped directly to Hannah's Treasure Chest's warehouse for immediate distribution! You will receive a receipt stating that the items you purchased were a tax-deductible donation to Hannah's Treasure Chest. This gives you to opportunity to shop for a cause!

Hannah's Treasure Chest can now accept tax-deductible monetary donations online. It is processed via PayPal, but you do NOT need a PayPal account to donate. If you do not have a PayPal account go to "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available)." If this option isn't available please Email us. If you do have a PayPal account, PayPal will automatically default to using your current PayPal account. To return to this website after making a donation click on RETURN TO MERCHANT.

Volunteer

Hannah's Treasure Chest's warehouse hours are Monday, Tuesday or Thursday from 10 am - 4 pm. Call or Email to schedule a time to volunteer or just drop by when you have free time. We ask for a minimum of an hour when you come in to volunteer. We also have special projects throughout the year that take place on evenings and weekends. Kroger Neighborhood Reward Program

Kroger Gift Cards are here! Our latest fundraising effort is now available - pick up your Kroger Gift Card at the office, shop for groceries, and Hannah's Treasure Chest will receive $4 for every $100 you spend at Kroger and other participating stores. It is $1 for the card with $1 already loaded on it. Reload your card before you buy groceries, then use the card to make your purchase. Call the office at 937.438.5039 for more information.

Sign up for the Dorothy Lane Market Good Neighbor Program

Dorothy Lane Market sponsors the Good Neighbor Program each year as a fundraising avenue for local non-profit organizations. $75,000 will be donated to area charities this year. Donations to each charity are based on purchases made by customers. Customers must designate a benefiting charity. To designate Hannah's Treasure Chest, sign-up at Good Neighbor Program. Our Charity ID is #496. A portion of every purchase will be made to Hannah's Treasure Chest. The program runs from January 1st - December 31st and must be re-designated each year.

Giving Angels

Become a Giving Angel. Giving Angels is a program that individuals, organizations, groups and corporations participate in to provide gifts for a child in need during the holiday season. Hannah's Treasure Chest asks that 4 gifts be purchased for each child. We recommend that two of the gifts be items the child needs, like a coat or clothing, and that two of the gifts be fun, like toys, games or books.

Purchase item donations online

You can shop online for brand new needed items from our online Wish List. It's just like purchasing from an online retailer, only the items get shipped directly to Hannah's Treasure Chest's warehouse.
