There are not enough words to say how thankful we are to
Hannah’s Treasure Chest. We, at Butler County Help Me Grow, work with over 1000 new moms per year (some as young as 12). Many of the women we serve do not have the means to provide the bare necessities for their children. With the cost of gas and food on the rise the need for the basics is increasing at an alarming rate.

Because of you our clients have not had to drop out of school to provide the basics for their children. Because of you clients have been able to focus on parent education, learning how to be a better parent, which ultimately helps to keep the children safer.

Many of our clients live everyday with the feeling of walking on quick sand. Never knowing what will happen next and just longing for the feeling of safety and that everything will be okay.

Your compassion and generosity give these young people a lifeline. It says the world cares about you and you can make it through these hard times!

In this challenging fiscal environment, many of the items that you have provided would be impossible, for us to provide for the children. The new and gently used strollers, highchairs, books and clothing that
Hannah's Treasure Chest provides are much needed and have an immediate impact on their lives.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart!
- Melissa Ruffner, Family Support Specialist, Butler County Help Me Grow

To the Giving Angels,
I really appreciate this opportunity for myself and my children to be chosen. All good things are chosen from God. I'm sooo happy I'm just flowing with tears. I'm so full I just can't say enough. My sickness just came down on me all at once. I laid in the hospital for one month. I'm still recuperating. Even when it's hard and I feel like giving up, I take another step. Even when the bills are due, I take another step. If I can do anything for this organization, if it's just a little time, call me up. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.

Dear Ms. Addington,
Hannah's Treasure Chest has had a tremendous impact on the kinship caregivers here in Montgomery County. Without HTC and the service you offer, the caregivers would never be able to buy the stuff they need when the children unexpectedly come to them. Most of the kinship caregivers we provide service to are grandparents, low income and single headed households. Majority of them receive a knock at the door and the grandchildren are there to stay for average of two years. Most of the biological parents provide little to no financial support when relatives are raising their children.

The children arrive at the door usually with the clothes on their back. They need a place to live, clothes, and everything a child needs to grow. The only thing I can tell you is that as a Kinship Navigator I often call
HTC to assist hundreds of families each year. So the service you offer to these caregivers is not only very much needed, but very much appreciated. I honestly do not know what they would do without your help.

Thank you so very much for your help and please don't stop caring for the children in this community.
- Bonnie Grooms, Kinship Navigator, Center for Healthy Communities

I've been a struggling mother of seven, been raising my kids on my own seems like since day one. There's not a month that goes by without shut-off notices or eviction notices. My child support is never on time which always throws me off on bills. I do the best I can to keep my family together but something always goes wrong. The help I have received from your agency has always been a blessing and I think you for everything.

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of support for Hannah's Treasure Chest. There are many times throughout each year that families in Greene County are unable to buy clothing, infant & toddler car seats, highchairs, and other items of necessity for their children. If it were not for Hannah's Treasure Chest serving our area, many infants would be riding in cars without proper restraint, many youth would be attending classes without proper fitting clothing, and families' anguish would be higher at not being able to provide needed items for their children.

It is a tremendous help to have this service available in our community. There is no other organization, church or business that provides this extensive service in this county. They do it without prejudice for low income qualifying families, and with the assurance that all items given are clean and in good condition. If it were not for their dedication we would find it difficult, if not impossible, to obtain the necessary items for area children.

This group has never wavered in their dedication to this project, which has seen remarkable growth. They are responsive to partner organizations and the clients they serve. I would highly recommend them for any award or grant which could be bestowed.

To whom will be helping my family for Christmas,
I want you to know that you will make our family very happy and grateful for all things donated to us. I've never had to ask for help before for Christmas, we've always managed, but this year my children's father was laid off from work and we just moved so we were kind of behind on things and won't be able to affor Christmas for our children. Usually my family could help buy my father has a lot of debt from my mother's death so now I have nowhere else to turn. So again we will greatly appreciate any help given to us. Hopefully next year we will be back on our feet. Thank you.

Dear Hannah's Treasure Chest,
Our clothing drive has drawn to a close for another year and once again it was a huge success. We were able to provide for 235 children from 85 families. This blessing has been quite a testimony to our dedicated volunteers.

The most exciting part of this experience is watching the children's faces when they get a pair of new shoes. In addition to the children, it was wonderful to see the mothers as they were able to pick up a few items for themselves. The day was full of laughter, joy, hugs and thankful hearts.

This year was definitely made possible because of several partners with this project...
Hannah's Treasure Chest provided numerous bags of children's clothes.

Your loving generosity opened the door for us to share God's love with so many people. It was a wonderful opportunity to reinforce that "God is good all the time and all the time God is good."

Blessings to all.
- Diana Watkins, Chairperson, Twin Towers Block Leaders

Thanks for all you have done for this agency. We really appreciate your kind gestures during the holiday season. You gave children the chance for a better Christmas and put smiles on many peoples faces. Thanks again for everything!

Dear Hannah's Treasure Chest:
Thank you so much for the donation of the beautiful changing table, mattress with sheets, clothing, sipee cups, and diapers to our Emergency Baby Pantry! We needed these items so much & they have helped a number of families! We want you to know how much of a help these donations are here.

The need for help is so great and sometimes our resources don't meet the demand. That's why we are so grateful for the generosity of people like you who help make it possible for us to assist God's precious little ones.

Our baby pantry provides us with the opportunity to show that we care for the life of babies after they are born, as well as before birth. We feel that families in a crisis pregnancy should know there is help for their babies and support for them in this difficult period of their lives. Also, in these uncertain times, some families find themselves temporarily in need and we are there to fill in the gap.

I know you will be blessed for your generosity and we certainly appreciate your donations and giving spirit. Thank you for your commitment to babies and life.

Dear Angela and all at Hannah's Treasure Chest-
Thank you SO much for setting up the Christmas gifts for the needy family. They truly needed the help and were so excited about it. Her job situation isn't very secure and she lost a lot of child support from her ex-husband being laid off. Without Hannah's Treasure Chest they would not have had a Christmas at all.

A month later the kids are still talking about how great Christmas was! She called me on Christmas Day to thank me and have me pass along the message to you all.

I know things aren't great for them - I hope they'll be able to use
Hannah's as a resource in the future. Our school community helps them a lot, but there is only so much that we, as individuals, can do for them.

Again - thank you so much - you guys are AWESOME!
